DP3 Architects, Ltd. Announces Three New Principals
DP3 Architects, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Margaretta “Meg” L. Terry, AIA, LEED AP, Brian S. Thomas, AIA, LEED AP, and Benjamin R. Urueta, AIAhave joined J. Michael Taylor, AIA, LEED AP as Principals of the firm.
Meg Terry, a Sanford, NC native, graduated from the Universityof Tennessee with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, and will be Vice President of Business Development. Meg joined the firm in 2004, and will continue in her role as Studio Leader of the 3 Degrees studio which focuses on architectural design for higher education. She is a member of the Junior League of Greenville, serves on the Greenville Urban Design Review Board, is a past president of the Greenville Section of the American Institute of Architects, and currently serves as an Upstate Director of AIA South Carolina.
Brian Thomas is originally from New England and graduated from Clemson University where he earned an undergraduate and Master of Architecture degree. He has been with the firm since 1993 and will be taking on the role of Vice President of Operations. He will continue in his role as Studio Leader of the Brain Fries studio, focusing primarily on restaurant design. He is a member of the Pleasantburg Rotary Club and serves on the board of directors for the Greater Greenville Hockey Association.
Ben Urueta is a native of Mexico and earned a Master of Architecture degree from Clemson University. He has been with the firm since 1999, and will be assuming the role of Vice President of Design. Ben has played an active role in the overall design of many projects and will continue providing creative design direction to all studios within the firm. He frequently volunteers his time as a professional advisor to undergraduate design studios at Clemson, and to other community organizations.
