DP3 Architects presented the SC Historic Preservation 2010 Honor Award for the Restoration and Renovation of Historic Hightower Hall

DP3 Architects, Ltd. was presented a South Carolina Historic Preservation 2010 Honor Award by the Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation, the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, and the Office of the Governor for renovation and restoration of the historic Hightower Hall.  The Honor Award celebrates successful and exemplary historic preservation projects from around South Carolina.

Hightower Hall in Historic Brattonsville (York County), SC was constructed in the 1850’s and was a featured location for several movies including “The Patriot”.  The restored and renovated home will now be used for public meetings, period workshops, weddings, social events, and as a museum.
