DP3 Architects Receives AIA Greenville Design Award

DP3 Architects, Ltd. has received a Merit Award from the Greenville Chapter of the American Institute of Architects for their design of the new Greenville County Recreation District Administrative Headquarters. The design program dictated that the facility serve two primary functions; an administrative headquarters and a support facility for surrounding athletic venues. With its natural materials and soaring roof lines, the building is clearly identified as the centerpiece of the complex, and presents a striking presence and point of orientation from all points of the site. This award-winning design met the needs of the client by presenting a professional, corporate image that would enhance their mission to provide high quality parks and recreation and complement their expanded presence in the community
