J. Michael Taylor, AIA Elected President of AIA/SC for 2007

J. Michael Taylor, AIA, a Principal of DP3 Architects, Ltd. has been elected Vice President/ President Elect of the South Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.  He will serve as Vice President/President Elect for the year 2006 and will assume the role of President in 2007, the 150th anniversary year of the American Institute of Architects.  Additional officers elected by the State Chapter include Mark Clancy of Charleston, Secretary, and Mark Timbes of Columbia, as Design Director.

Michael, a founding partner of DP3 Architects, has served as Design Director for AIA/SC and Chairman of the Design Awards Committee for 2003, 2004, and 2005. In addition, he serves on and is the past Chairman of the Design and Preservation Commission for the City of Greenville.
