- Buford Street UMC selected SYS Constructors as the construction "Partner" for this project to work with DP3 Architects for the purpose of maximizing the funds available for this project. With the floor plan and building concept already established from a previous master planning study performed by DP3, it was the team's responsibility to explore various construction options. The project was designed to allow it to be constructed in phases, knowing that the Church may not be able to raise all funds necessary for the entire project. The design would have to look "complete" whether the Gymnasium or the Family Life Center was constructed first.
