- The facility, for the School of Education, includes general classroom space, math, science, social studies, and computer laboratories, administrative space, faculty offices, and support facilities. Originally constructed in 1912, the building is on the National Register of Historic Places, and the restoration/renovation included architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical services. In addition to the basic architectural services, DP3 Architects also led intensive programming sessions with the faculty and staff of the School of Education and Winthrop University in order to define the programmatic and functional relationships required for the renovated facility.
