Hunter’s General Store, built in 1850, is situated within the Pendleton Historic District in Pendleton, SC. A long-time mercantile center for Pendleton, the building is now being stabilized and restored to house the Pendleton Historic District Commission offices in a “working” museum environment and archive storage.

Through the years the building had acquired several conditions which were compromising its structural integrity and weather tightness. To address the issues, the Commission enlisted the services of DP3 Architects with their extensive historic preservation and restoration experience.
