- An integral part of the City’s downtown revitalization effort the Museum will be located on a site adjacent to an active rail line. DP3 Architects created several design alternatives for the building from which the City chose a “depot” approach to reflect the original use of the historic site.
Currently under design the new 5,100 square foot facility will house:
- 2,800 Square foot museum exhibit area.
- 35 seat museum orientation theater.
- Director’s office.
- Support and public spaces.
As the gateway to southern Greenville County the facility will also feature a visitor center sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce.
