- This addition to the historic Greenville Gas and Electric Light Building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a 1,870 square foot Wine Café. The challenge was to respect the historic character of this existing building. The new construction reflects the 1890's warehouse-type character of the old building through the use of basic construction materials including concrete, wood, and metal siding. This design highlights the character of the original building and creates a unique fine dining experience. Another important aspect of this project was creating functionality between the new spaces, and the existing Wine Shop and Wine Tasting Room currently housed in the building.
