Brian S. Thomas, AIA has been named President and Chief Operations Officer of DP3 Architects.
Brian S. Thomas, AIA has been named President and Chief Operations Officer of DP3 Architects, Ltd. assuming responsibility for the day-to-day management of the firm. Thomas graduated from Clemson University where he earned undergraduate and Master of Architecture degree. He has been with the firm since 1993 and is the restaurant studio leader for the firm. He was named a principal of the firm along with Meg Terry and Ben Urueta in 2011. With the support of the firm’s other principals, Brian will now be the primary point of contact for the firm’s direction.

Michael Taylor, AIA. “I am confident that Brian will carry on the core principles of family, trust, design excellence, and community service, that have been hallmarks of the firm for 35 years.”
Taylor has served as a managing principal and founding member of DP3 Architects since its inception in 1984. Focusing on PEOPLE, through the skill and dedication of each team member and the clients we serve; PLACES through the projects that the firm executes in the areas of community, higher education, hospitality, and interiors; and PURPOSE through understanding the underlying meaning of projects so that they enrich the environment and enhance the end-user experience, the firm has grown into one of the leading architectural firms in South Carolina. Taylor will continue to be involved in the firm as CEO and Chairman, providing guidance, architectural design expertise, and business development support.

We are extremely grateful to be recognized by our architectural peers at the American Institute of Architects AIA Greenville with an Interior Architecture Award for the DP3 Architects Office Upfit and a New Construction Award for the City of Greenville Public Works Campus. In addition, DP3 Architects’ newest team member, Brittany Arnold was presented with an Honor Award for the Clemson Engineers for Developing Countries Center for Excellence building she and fellow student, Elisa Sowell designed in collaboration with the Clemson University School of Architecture.
