“In historical preservation projects, I aim for the outcome to be closer to the original than it already is.”

John W. Dunham

John graduated from Clemson University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in design and is now an Associate with the firm. He joined DP3 in 1997, and plays a critical role in historical renovations.

The Westminster Train Depot remains a favorite of John’s. With the building having extensive fire damage, John’s team used period-specific elements to restore the 100-year-old building near to its original design.  The space is now a vibrant part of the community, housing the local Chamber of Commerce.

John is an avid cyclist and rides whenever he has the chance. He has plenty of long rides under his belt, but none are more fulfilling than a ride he took from San Francisco to Washington D.C. to raise money for Push America, a charity dedicated to helping the disabled.
