Lorna P. Cardenas
“Architecture is the practice of an imperfect goal; therefore we continually reach for knowledge and improvement. Then there is the fun.”

Lorna P. Cardenas

AIA, LEED AP

Lorna’s passion for architecture began as a young girl building structures with Lincoln Logs or piles of tree branches. Fast forward to college; she still had architecture in her sights. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Architecture.  After working for DP3 briefly for two years in the ‘90s, Lorna recently decided to re-join the team in the higher education studio.

Lorna stays busy outside of work as well, riding horses and bikes, running, circuit training, and reading Sci-Fi novels.  Her thirst for creativity doesn’t stop at architecture either; she is working on building a forge for aluminum casting and glass work.
