Clemson City Hall

City of Clemson
Clemson, SC

In 2008 the city found itself cramped for space and subsequently selected DP3 Architects to address the situation. The firm performed a space utilization study of the current city hall in conjunction with a space needs analysis to understand the short- and long-term needs for additional space. The results of the study and analysis was key to the city making the decision to expand the city hall.

The two-story expansions, mirror images of each other, each encompass 8,400 SF of floor area. The west wing provides space for the municipal court facilities on the upper level and Planning Department offices on the lower level while the east wing houses a new Council Chambers and support areas on the upper level and a Community Room and support spaces on the lower level.
