Tin Lizzy’s Cantina
Assisting young restaurant brands in reaching their growth potential is one of DP3 Architects strengths. When Tin Lizzy’s, an Atlanta-based taqueria and cantina, outgrew its local market and needed to expand, they turned to the restaurant expertise of DP3 Architects. Working with Tin Lizzy’s, DP3 identified certain design elements that would be key identifiers with guests as their market areas expanded, as well as develop signature exterior elements that would work in harmony with the brand’s history. A simple material palette of natural wood juxtaposed with rustic tin and salvaged elements, speaks to the early days of the concept while providing a kit-of-parts to carry it forward. The 5,000-square-foot restaurant at Magnolia Park provides an island bar which carries the interior energy to the outdoor patio.
