Travelers Rest hired DP3 Architects to design the new fire station. The design of the station fits in with the buildings already under construction on the campus. The single-story station includes six dorm rooms, four drive-thru apparatus bays, community room, and training/storage mezzanines and support spaces. The building also features a children’s fire pole and platform in the community room, open dayroom with dining and kitchen, and patio space that provides views to the campus and amphitheater.
