The Chop House
Madison, AL
Adapting a new prototype for continued growth
The prototype establishes an updated design direction for the brand. For the Madison, Alabama location, DP3 Architects adapted the prototype to the specific site while carrying forward its defining architectural and interior design elements.
The updated design balances the familiar character of a traditional steakhouse with contemporary materials and refined details. The exterior combines brick, wood, and metal elements, anchored by a distinctive entry tower that establishes a strong visual identity. Inside, warm finishes and elevated accents create an inviting atmosphere that reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and hospitality.

A Variety of Dining Experiences
A variety of seating options, including booths, bar seating, intimate tables, larger group settings, and a four-seasons patio room, accommodates different dining experiences throughout the day. The patio room adds flexibility to the dining environment, providing a distinct setting for guests to enjoy throughout the year.

Modern Design with Subtle Sophistication
Large windows bring natural light into the interior, while exposed ceilings and polished concrete floors balance the warmth of natural materials with a modern, understated aesthetic. Gold accents and illuminated metal mesh lighting add a layer of sophistication, creating an atmosphere that feels both elevated and approachable.
The Chop House in Madison offers a dining experience that balances the familiar character of a traditional steakhouse with a refreshed design. DP3 Architects is pleased to continue its partnership with Connor Concepts and contribute to the ongoing evolution of The Chop House brand.
