DP3 Architects joined City of Greenville officials, JE Properties, community leaders, and residents in celebrating the official groundbreaking for the renovation of the historic Greenville Summit. This project will preserve the 114-year-old building while continuing its mission to provide affordable housing for seniors.

Mayor Knox White highlighted the importance of preserving affordability as Greenville continues to grow and emphasized the City’s commitment to ensuring seniors can remain in the heart of downtown for decades to come.

The project will include restoration of the building’s historic cornices, brick repointing, window replacements, mechanical upgrades and full renovations to kitchens, bathrooms and flooring in every unit.

DP3 Architects is honored to design the renovation of this important Greenville landmark, helping ensure the Greenville Summit continues serving residents and strengthening the downtown community for generations to come.
