The DP3 Architects team joined MetroConnects in celebrating the grand opening of its new $32 million campus headquarters in Mauldin, SC. The 23-acre site marks a major milestone for the organization as it continues to expand to meet the region’s growing infrastructure needs.
Designed to support both current operations and future growth, the campus includes a 30,875-square-foot administration building, a 32,700-square-foot operations and maintenance facility, 23 equipment bays, a 2.5-acre laydown yard, and 250 parking spaces.
The facility also prioritizes employee wellness and workplace experience, incorporating amenities such as an on-site gym, walking trail, collaborative meeting spaces, and enhanced fleet and equipment storage areas.
The project was completed in approximately two years, with MetroConnects breaking ground in November 2024. The project team included JLL, Vannoy Construction, DP3 Architects, and Thomas & Hutton.
As Greenville County’s wastewater collection provider, MetroConnects plays a crucial role in protecting our public health and environment and preserving our water resources. The new Campus headquarters provides a state-of-the-art facility for innovation, sustainability, and continued service to the growing community.
