John Trejo-Chavez
“I’m inspired by the way well-designed spaces can shape how people feel.”

John Trejo-Chavez

John Trejo-Chavez joined DP3 Architects after graduating from Clemson University with a B.A. in Architecture and a minor in Construction Science and Management. A Greenville native, John developed an appreciation for architecture by observing the city’s growth and experiencing firsthand how well-designed spaces can influence how people feel and interact.

Inspired by architecture’s ability to endure over time, John is drawn to creating work that feels meaningful and lasting. John enjoys seeing ideas take shape, whether through small design moments or fully realized projects. As part of the Hospitality Studio, he is focused on growing in the profession, expanding his technical abilities, and contributing to projects that are designed around experience and a strong sense of place.

In his free time, John is rarely without a sketchbook. He keeps a pocket-sized notebook with him wherever he goes, using it to sketch ideas, study details, and capture his environment. He also enjoys reading classical literature, staying active, and biking.
