When Hard Rock Cafe was forced to relocate from their defining pyramid structure to a new space at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC, they took the opportunity to work with DP3 Architects to create a restaurant that is rich in the musical history of the south.

THE STORY

Entering through one of their signature Rock Shops and past a massive drum chandelier extending through the second level, the 7,600-sqare-foot restaurant opens into a 2-story gallery of rock and roll decadence. Amidst the memorabilia that the brand is famous for are two main focal points: the stage, with its stenciled brick background and velvet curtains; and the bar, featuring iconic organ pipes reaching upward to fill the room. The second floor of the space resembles a cat walk that surrounds the lower dining room, giving guests a unique view of the stage below. A private dining room, first and second floor outdoor dining areas, and private booths serves all by providing guests with unique experiences on each visit
