Located in the growing Riverlights community in Wilmington, NC, the new 4,200-square-foot Dental Care at Riverlights is a ground-up, free-standing prototype designed in collaboration with Heartland Dental. The building features 10 treatment rooms and 2 surgical suites and is arranged to support efficient workflows for staff and patient comfort. A blend of fiber cement lap siding, board and batten, and shake siding paired with wood studs and trusses gives the facility its signature coastal character, enhanced by a pitched roof and thoughtfully placed windows that fill the waiting and reception areas with natural light. With over 40 dental offices designed nationwide for Heartland Dental, DP3 Architects continues to create spaces that support advanced dental care while celebrating the architecture of the region.
