Yard House

Yard House is an award-winning restaurant chain  where you’ll find the world’s largest selection of draft beer along with a diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere. DP3 Architects had the pleasure of designing a new Yard House in Sarasota, Florida using the brand’s existing prototype, which was modified to include a beer garden and to and updated beer coolers to a more prominent elevation.

The new Yard House in Sarasota is located in the East District, across from the University Town Center Mall. When entering, guests will immediately recognize the familiar industrial feel of its interior. The crowning jewel of the space is the 130 beers on draft that all come from a glass-enclosed keg room, featuring a variety of steel barrels that flow through the restaurant to the bar to pour each beer at an ideal 34-37 degrees. The exposed ceiling includes the brand’s famous overhead steel “beer lines.” Guests can take a peek into the impressive keg room through back-lit windows above the dining and bar area.  The beer garden is a special feature for this location, offering a variety of seating options and a designated area for outdoor games. Garage style doors provide access to the beer garden and can be opened day or night to create an open-air dining experience.
