Piedmont Technical College | Greenwood, SC

DP3 Architects is partnering with Piedmont Technical College to transform Building K into a modern, student-centered space that creates opportunities for collaboration and workforce development.

The renovation reimagines the entire building, featuring a modernized library, student support services, workforce engagement spaces, faculty offices, and flexible collaboration areas designed to meet the evolving needs of students and faculty. The project includes new vertical connections through the addition of a stair and elevator, along with upgraded life safety systems, a new roof, and modern mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The project aims to achieve a Green Globes certification, enhancing the accessibility, sustainability, and the building's long-term performance. Designed to encourage connection and productivity, the renovated Building K will provide flexible spaces that support Piedmont Technical College's commitment to providing students with every opportunity to reach their full potential.
