DP3 Architects Named Small Business of The Month

Posted on April 12, 2023

From fire stations to office spaces, restaurants, and more, DP3 Architects has been designing impactful spaces throughout the Upstate for over 35 years. Founded in 1984, the firm has been built by designers that love the craft and have distinguished themselves in the niche markets of hospitality, community, higher education, and interiors.

DP3 Architects is a dynamic and talented team of 35 professionals that thrive on creating unique, innovative, and sustainable designs that give places true functionality and purpose. We are committed to providing design excellence with attention to quality and service while delivering creative and functional projects for our clients locally and nationwide.

As stewards of our local community, we are passionate about how we can build a better Greenville through the power of design. Our business is about people, the talented ones on our team, and the ones who will live, work, and play daily in the spaces we create. We foster an internal culture that encourages our team to donate their time, skills, and passions to the community through volunteer service. Our firm is heavily involved locally with the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, local farmers market sponsorships, first responder support, the United Way, Front Porch Housing, and the Harvest Hope Food Bank.

The firm’s culture and “Architecture-by-Team” approach creates a client and team member experience that revolves around a collaborative and fun setting. It is because of this culture that DP3 Architects has recently been named the “Best Architecture Firm in South Carolina” by the Greenville Business Magazine and one of the “Best Places to Work in South Carolina” by SC Biz News.

“It’s one thing to win design awards, but this recognition is particularly special,” said Brian Thomas, principal, and CEO. “Most cultures fall from the top down, our strength is that ours is grown from the bottom up. Our team has truly shaped our culture and our leadership is here to help support that.”

It’s a privilege to contribute to the growing landscape of our own Greenville community and we are honored to be the April Small Business of the Month. Thank you to the Greenville Chamber for this recognition. Check out principals, Brian Thomas, Meg Terry, and Ben Urueta receive this award on WSPA. WATCH HERE
