The Matador

This summer, The Matador opened its doors in Greenville’s West End, bringing a vibrant new dining experience to Main Street. Founded by Zak Melang, The Matador is a Mexican-inspired restaurant and tequila bar with locations across the United States, including Charleston, South Carolina.

The ground floor features a custom curved bar, stained glass accents, and handcrafted metal archways, while the second floor offers additional dining and bar space that opens onto a new rooftop patio. Designed with custom ironwork, outdoor lighting, and relaxed seating, the rooftop provides the perfect setting for casual dining and gatherings.

Layered with details and treasures collected from Melang’s travels through Mexico, The Matador’s Greenville location creates a unique atmosphere that is both eclectic and welcoming, adding a new destination to the city’s dining scene.
