Travelers Rest Fire Station was selected to receive a national design award!
We are extremely pleased to announce that the Travelers Rest Fire Station in Travelers Rest, SC was selected to receive a national design award today at the FIERO Fire Station Design Symposium in Raleigh, NC. Past DP3 designed stations to receive this honor were the Parker District Fire Station in Greenville, SC and the Surfside Beach Fire Station in Surfside Beach, SC.
DP3 Architects Acquires Dailey & Associates and Introduces Interiors Studio
DP3 Architects, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Dailey & Associates has joined the firm to support its new interior architecture/interiors studio. DP3 Architects has been performing interior architectural services for more than 31 years. This expansion gives the firm over 60 years of combined interior design experience related to commercial office, restaurant, healthcare, higher education, and recreation projects.
Meg Terry, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP, Principal, will lead the new interiors studio. Debra Dailey and Whitney Swafford, formerly of Dailey & Associates, will join the interiors studio and support the growth of the firm’s new service offerings.
Meg has been with DP3 Architects for nearly 11 years. As principal, Meg has been instrumental in the success of the firm, particularly in the higher education studio which she led for 7 years.
Debra Dailey, IIDA founded Dailey & Associates in 1992. She comes to DP3 Architects with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Converse College, and 32 years of commercial interior design experience. Dailey has always strived to achieve the ultimate combination of functional efficiency and aesthetic appeal on behalf of her clients—values that fit perfectly with DP3 Architects’ people, places, purpose philosophy.
Whitney Swafford joins DP3 Architects with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Winthrop University and 7 years of experience in the industry. Whitney’s experience at Dailey & Associates has positioned her for a seamless transition to DP3’s interiors studio.
